Meet the Doctor

Dr. Shahbaz Yazdani moved to the United States of America in the early 80s. Since then,he had all his training here in the US. Dr. Yazdani went to East Texas Baptist University in small town Marshall, Texas for his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science. Unsure of his future he went to Louisiana for research at the Biomedical Research Institute, but quickly realized that was not for him and needed to care for his fellow man. The Biomedical Research Institute was located next to the Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He finally found his calling. Family medicine was the specialty he wanted to purse since it encompases the whole family and all medical conditions. After graduation he moved to San Antonio, Texas. A big small town with great spirit and friendly nature. Once his training was done, he quickly opened his own office. He has been this towns one-on-one doctor who listens to his patients since 2005.

The care at 1 Family Doctor is exceptional and personalized! I always see Dr Yazdani not a PA or Nurse. I love that!
